The HP StorageWorks Ultrium 920 Tape Drive is based on the 3rd generation LTO technology, delivering a storage capacity of 800GB per data cartridge and a transfer rate of 432GB/hour both compressed. The Ultrium 920 models include Internal, External and 1U Rackmount model, it is backward-read compatible with 1st and 2nd generation Ultrium media and backward-write compatible with 2nd generation Ultrium media. HP Data Protector Express Single Server Edition software and its Bare Metal Disaster Recovery option are included with each drive model, as well as support for HP One-Button Disaster Recovery and HP Library and Tape Tools. The Ultrium 920 Tape Drive WORM feature offers a simple and secure method for archiving records allowing customers to meet compliance regulations. The Ultrium 920 is available in SCSI and SAS, with support for HP and non-HP servers and workstations. Each drive model includes an HP Ultrium 800GB data cartridge and all required mounting and cabling hardware.
