This HBA is ideal for customers who require more than one SCSI port to connect an HP MSL Tape Library to an HP ProLiant server. With a PCI-e interface and low profile form factor, the HP U320e SCSI Host Bus Adapter matches the latest technology available in today’s ProLiant servers and is ideal for connecting MSL Tape Libraries to ProLiant servers. Equipped with the latest PCI-e technology found in the latest generation of HP ProLiant servers, the HP U320e SCSI Host Bus Adapter PCI-Express interface provides faster throughput versus PCI-X. In addition, some density-optimized ProLiant server models ship standard with low profile slots. The U320e SCSI Host Bus Adapter comes equipped with a low profile bracket for low profile slots as well as the standard bracket for full size slots.
