There are some differences between the DL580 and the BL680c -- for instance the DL580 has more DIMM slots, local drives and expansion slots compared to the BL680c, but the BL680c has more embedded Gigabit Ethernet adapters and a much denser form factor. The BL680c delivers a robust feature set in a 4P blade and is a viable platform for any customer looking for traditional 4P features and performance in a blade.
