MCS has been designed to support a full rack load of blade servers, which, at their maximum configuration require a power load in excess of 35KW.

The MCS unit will provide chilled air along the full height of the rack eliminating hotspots within the rack.

Bi-Directional heat exchanger allows 2 racks to be cooled simultaneously with loads of up to 17.5kW in each rack or a single rack with up to 35kW.

All HP server platform support - MCS G2 supports ProLiant, BladeSystem, Integrity, HP 9000 and StorageWorks from HP as well as select third party equipment. (MCS G2 does not support 10U and 17U severs rx and rp family)

CTO Capability with 2000 lbs dynamic load allows MCS G2 to be configured at HP Factory Express.
Engineered for reliability and ease of ownership

Hot swappable fans: Fans can be replaced while the unit is operating allowing for great flexibility in servicing the MCS G2.

Remote Environmental control: The MCS G2 features a fully featured Environmental Manager accessible locally or remotely via IP.

Industry Standard Rack: 42U height, industry standard rack, maintains the height of your datacenter rows and does not change the way your servers are racked.

Datacenter Tiling: Maintain datacenter tiling with the MCS being ½ the width of a standard rack.
•
Power input redundancy: Automatically detects power failure and switches to alternate source.
•
Condensation evacuation: MCS operates at a temperature higher than the dew point of water, however, if condensation should occur the MCS will drain it via the condensation evacuation pipe.

HP SIM: MCS G2 has Level 2 integration with HP SIM.
