Q3.What memory does the new ProLiant DL185 G5 use?
A3.The DL185 G5 uses PC2-5300 or PC2-6400 DDR2 memory.
Q4.What is the standard and maximum amount of memory supported?
A4.The DL185 comes standard with either 1, 2, or 4GB of memory depending on model.

The 1GB is standard on the 2 core (AMD Opteron 2200 series processor) models and the 2, and 4GB are standard on the 4 core (AMD Opteron 2300 series processor) model. There are eight DIMM slots, so maximum supported memory is 64GB (8 x 8GB).
Q5.Are the optional redundant power supplies hot plug?
A5.Yes. The optional redundant power supplies are now Hot Plug.
Q6.How does the DL185 G5 support 14 drives?
A6.To get the 14 drives you must order the 12 drive model and add the rear hot plug hard drive cage, which supports drives 13 and 14.
Q7.What is the warranty on this product?
A7.The HP ProLiant DL185 G5 is supported with a worldwide limited warranty featuring 1 years of parts, labor, and on-site service.
