Windows Vista will be available in editions ranging from Windows Vista Home Basic for entry-level users to Windows Vista Business for those needing more robust features and functionality. While 512MB of memory is the minimum to run Windows Vista Basic, additional hardware may be needed to take full advantage of more advanced features. For Windows Vista Business, we suggest that your PC should have at least 1GB of memory. System may require upgraded and/or separately purchased hardware, drivers, and/or software to take full advantage of Windows Vista Graphical User Interface functionality.
