The HP Modular Cooling System G2 is the next generation self-cooled rack for high density deployments in the Datacenter. HP's new Bidirectional cooling technology makes possible the simultaneous cooling of two racks with a single MCS G2 unit. The MCS G2 racks can cool up to 15kW per rack when cooling two racks or up to 35kW when cooling a single rack. HP MCS G2 is designed to complement the existing conventional Datacenter cooling by adding computing power without adding to the current heat load in the Datacenter. In addition, by packing three times the KW capacity of a standard rack, the MCS G2 will extend considerably the life of your Datacenter.
