The VLS12000 EVA Gateway is a multi-node gateway solution for the EVA that offers industry-leading performance and scales in performance and capacity to 4800 MB/sec and 1080 TB of useable storage with 2:1 hardware compression. Accelerated deduplication delivers fast backup performance as the deduplication occurs after the backup completes. Low bandwidth replication enables fast, low-cost disaster recovery between remote sites. The VLS12000 EVA Gateway integrates seamlessly into existing backup applications and processes and as storage needs grow it matches the environment by scaling both in capacity and performance. It is a highly available solution using HP ProLiant servers with redundant subsystems.
