Pre-built models are sometimes labeled as "Smart Buy" models and offer instant savings. They are pre-configured and ready to ship. You can view the pre-built models by selecting the "Models" tab above. A model that you "configure to order" is built in the factory just as you have specified on your order form. To configure your model select from the options below.

HP gives you the ability to define the component configuration of a product with the exact specifications you need before ordering. HP will build the business desktop product you define and ship within 5-7 business days.

found above many categories for additional information and to assist with
your component selections like processors, memory, graphic cards and hard
drives. you will see this help option once you are inside the configurator,
step 3.
Step Two:
HP suggests upgrading your basic warranty and service package for additional peace of mind
or enhance your computing experience with valuable accessories and services
such as HP monitor and printer, HP recycling or data backup services. look
for these items in the recommended accessories, supplies and services
section after step 3.
