What is the difference between the BL2x220c and other BladeSystem Servers from HP? |

The BL2x220c provides increased density by providing for up to two server nodes per blade server bay. Each server node can support up to 2 Dual or Quad-Core Intel Xeon CPUs and up to 16GB of RAM. Although all data and management traffic is passed through a single mid-plane connector that is located on one of the server nodes, each server node operates independantly of the other, having its own Operating System and workload.

There is one iLO for each server node. Each server node can be managaged independently of the other. This allows for example, a server administrator to view the console of one server node through the Virtual KVM function without affecting the other server node. |
