HP Data Protector Express Software provides secure protection for data, applications and systems on a single machine or a small network without requiring an expert. This simple and reliable data protection is for Windows, Linux or NetWare with backup to disk, tape or DVD/CD. It is easy to add machines for protection, share backup devices and manage all this from a simple interface. The D2Any2Any feature allows automated movement of data from backup media to other media easy disk-to-disk-to-tape backups. Data encryption is a standard feature. The Bare Metal Disaster Recovery Option automates system recovery after a serious failure. The online backup agent delivers protection for SQL Server and Exchange. For users of Microsoft Small Business Server, there is a single solution with all the components required for protection. All Data Protector Express components include one year support and delivery of fixes/ upgrades. Care Packs are available to upgrade and extend this support.
